HIGH HOLY DAY SERVICES
at Beth Am, the Peoples’ Temple


Beth Am’s High Holy Day services emphasize serious reflection combined with active congregational participation and exceptional music.

Services will be at the Cornerstone Center this year
and you can attend in person or on Zoom.
The Cornerstone Center is an accessible building
at 178 Bennett Avenue at 189th Street in
Washington Heights, Manhattan.

Adrienne Lotto
Cantorial Soloist


Adrienne is a soprano whose passion for 
early and contemporary music led her to the 
Yale Institute of Sacred Music, where she
earned a Master's degree in 2020. 
A native of New Jersey, she grew up in Congregation Agudath Israel and was a member of HaZamir, the international Jewish teen choir, for 5 years. 

After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in voice, she worked for two years as  a costumed interpreter and singer for the Governor’s Musick, Colonial Williamsburg’s resident Baroque ensemble.

Rabbi Heather Shore
Darshan

Rabbi Heather Shore was ordained by HUC-JIR in 2023, and is currently pursuing an additional master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Spiritual Integration through Fordham University’s Graduate School of Religion.  She is passionate about integrative, creative, and accessible modalities of Jewish spiritual support that foster personal resilience and communal care.  Combining pastoral support and her clinical studies, Heather’s recent areas of research include spiritual care for climate-related grief and anxiety. 

Heather holds undergraduate degrees in Judaic Studies and Studio Art from Binghamton University, and spent the years leading up to rabbinical school working for a variety of Jewish experiential programs as an educator, program developer, and logistics coordinator.  She is a certified Yoga Teacher and avid plant-lover, and wrote her rabbinic thesis on Biblical Botany.  When not at work, Heather enjoys tending to her many (many) plant babies and spending time with her very enthusiastic pit mix, Luna.
